Director, Information Technology-Illinois

Our client, a growing and financially strong rural hospital located in central Illinois, has engaged us to identify an experienced Information Technology leader to join their organization. 

The Information Technology Director is responsible for ensuring continuous delivery of information technology services for this healthcare organization.  This individual is responsible for the technical aspects of the organization’s information technology and systems.  The IT Director directs implementation and maintenance of the IT systems in support of business and clinical operations in order to improve service quality and cost effectiveness.  The IT Director’s role is to provide first level supervision of the Information Technology Staff.

  • Financially strong 25-bed Illinois Critical Access Hospital. This growing organization also has numerous surgeons on staff; a newly-constructed skilled nursing facility; assisted and independent living facility; a beautiful, large Wellness Center; vascular lab; and five satellite offices in nearby towns.
  • Hospital was ranked in the TOP 20 in the US in patient satisfaction last year by iVantage and NRHA
  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of recent IT experience in a hospital or healthcare setting with at least 7 years of total IT work experience with increasing responsibilities

Location:  This Illinois rural community offers small town living with easy commutes, attractive and affordable housing, as well as a reasonable cost of living.    Communities with metropolitan amenities are easily accessed less than 30 minutes away.
